August is the time when Les Parisiens flee to their second homes in the countryside or to the pebble stacked beaches of the Côte d'Azur.
A deserted Paris adopts the feel of a provincial village, and with the warm weather and terraces libres, it is the perfect time to make the most of what the city has to offer.
Below I have written up some suggestions of things to see, eat and drink during August in Paris. I will certainly be doing most of these things when I come back from my holiday en province in two days!
